Photography
My love of photography began long before I ever dreamed of pursuing a career in the arts. In high school and college you could find me at an event or party snapping photos on my first Canon that my dad bought me for Christmas one year.
Since then, I have applied my photography chops and interest in all of the positions I’ve ever held professionally and always carry a point and shoot camera because you never know when you’ll see something worth capturing.
Most importantly, and I think what drew me to photography in the first place, is a desire to focus on and capture the beauty of this world when it is so easy to focus on the negative and the ugly. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate, cherish and romanticize how precious the human experience is than by capturing a fleeting moment.

At Adweek I worked cross-departmentally in both the Branded Content Studio and on the print magazine. My primary responsibilities were to design sponsored immersive stories and guides as well as design articles and covers for the magazine.

While art director for Tribeza, I was essentially the entire creative department. I attended, directed and styled editorial photoshoots, designed each issue of the magazine, obtained and placed all ads, created every piece of collateral for all events the magazine produced and much more. I managed interns from The University of Texas each semester and worked with the digital media manager to create social assets to promote both the magazine and our events.
